Fall Decorating - Last Year

It's September 1st! My favorite time of the year is now through Christmas. I started decorating the house this morning, but I am still not 100% set on where I have placed everything. I change things up every year but I took a look back at last year for some inspiration. Some of the furniture and decor have changed over the least year too.

Velvet Pumpkin Collection

I got these small pumpkins in the dollar section from Target right before Hurricane Irma hit last year (a year ago next week!) as I was making one last attempt to find a radio for us (no luck!)

We came home from lunch one day and found someone else had some lunch while we were gone - my dogs knocked this over and started to chow down on the pumpkin with the warts

I only like cutesy halloween decor, and these boos won't come out until October

Adding Eucalyptus

I love adding eucalyptus to arrangements, I think it adds some whimsy.

Blue & White Foo Dog

I have been on the look out for the right foo dog (or pair of dogs) for a while now. I knew I wanted a blue and white one, but I haven't been able to find the right one for a good price. Admittedly, I saw this guy a few months ago at the Antique Mall, but I didn't end up getting him. I was very happy to see him still there today and made sure I brought him home this time.
